Массовое появление розовых и белых чаек в бухте Нагаева в декабре 2024 г.
Mass appearance of Ross's and Ivory Gulls at the coasts of Nagayev Bay in early December, 2024, is discussed. It is the second registered case of Ross's Gull big flock appearing in coastal waters; like the first one, it was observed in the beginning of winter. For Ivory Gulls, it is the first early-winter record of several adult individuals in the coastal waters of the Sea of Okhotsk. Active feeding of Ross's Gulls on free-swimming specimen of Big-eye Amphipods (Hyperia galba) is recorded.
