Gold recovery from acidic wastewater using ionic viologen organic and metal–organic framework composites

This study reports ionic hybrid composites for efficient and rapid removal of gold anions from acidic wastewater, with a capture capacity up to 1053 mg g −1 and excellent recyclability. Thus, a sustainable solution for gold recovery is presented.
