Wybrane zagadnienia dotyczące reformy systemu azylowo‑migracyjnego Unii Europejskiej (Paktu o migracji i azylu)

The Pact on Migration and Asylum introduces a solidarity mechanism consisting of measures such as relocations and financial contributions from Member States. Regulation 2024/1351 does not contain provisions on ‘sanctions for non-admission of immigrants’. The Council’s implementing act, which is adopted annually under the provisions of the Pact, will set out the total annual number for relocations required in the EU, the total annual amount of financial contributions required for the annual solidarity pool at EU level and the approximate contributions of each Member State resulting from the application of the reference key. The Pact on Migration and Asylum was adopted on 14th May 2024, entered into force, and will be applied (with certain exceptions) from 2026. Member States should introduce the laws, regulations and administrative provisions necessary to implement Directive 2024/1346 by 12th June 2026. The Council of Ministers has not yet taken action to implement the Pact.
