INDOOR NAVIGATION SYSTEM
Navigating large and complex indoor spaces like shopping malls, airports, and hospitals can be a challenge, especially where GPS signals are unreliable. To address this issue, an innovative indoor navigation system has been developed, designed to guide users seamlessly through such environments. This solution utilizes a hybrid of wireless technologies-primarily Wi-Fi and Bluetooth-combined with advanced real-time positioning and route optimization algorithms. The system is built around three core components: a mapping module that provides a detailed visualization of the indoor layout; a positioning module that uses trilateration techniques to accurately determine the user's location; and a routing module that calculates the most efficient path to the user's destination. To ensure continuous improvement, the system also incorporates user feedback mechanisms that help adapt it to evolving layouts and user needs.[1] Featuring a scalable and dynamic architecture, the system is highly adaptable and can be deployed across a range of indoor environments with minimal changes to existing infrastructure. It integrates seamlessly with mobile applications to deliver real-time, turn-by-turn navigation, accessibility options for users with disabilities, and notifications for points of interest.By leveraging multiple wireless networks, the system maintains a high degree of accuracy, even in environments where traditional GPS fails. Its flexible, cost-effective design makes it a powerful tool for improving user experience, accessibility, and independence in a variety of indoor settings.[2
