Embeddedness and entanglement between the methods of Articulation and Calibration
This paper outlines how the intersection between the literatures on embeddedness and entanglement has been usually explained through the method of Articulation. It then contrasts Articulation with Calibration, a method of thinking grounded within Spinozian philosophy of Substance and Critical Realism. While acknowledging the merits of Articulation, this paper emphasizes the value added nature of Calibration and its implications on various literatures related to the study of contemporary capitalism.
