Isolated Dc Microgrid With Multiport Converter For EV Application

This project focuses to develop an intelligent DC microgrid system designed especially with advanced multi-converter control especially for electric vehicle applications. The configuration integrates renewable energy sources, energy storage units, and EV charging stations and uses smart algorithmic controls to optimize flow, enhance the system's stability, and ensure efficient usage of energy. Some of the major issues to be addressed by the project include load balancing and voltage regulation in the microgrid, and seamless integration of diverse sources of power along with the fluctuating renewable energy inputs and varied demands from EV charging. The objective is to design a robust control architecture that is scalable to changes in conditions such that there exists efficient and reliable supply of power from the DC microgrid for utilization in EVs. This will involve generation of mathematical models, control strategies, and simulation studies and subsequent experimental validation to show how the system works in real applications ensuring 3 different output voltages of (12v,24v,36v).
