Smart Agriculture with Fertilizer/Pesticide Recommendation System
The smart agriculture comprises of precision farming which increases the productivity in crops including safe agricultural practices. This article introduces a Smart Agriculture System to optimize crop productivity through precision farming. With the use of NPK (Nitrogen, Phosphorus, and Potassium) sensors and Soil Moisture sensors, real-time data on soil nutrients such as nitrogen, phosphorus, and potassium, and soil moisture are collected and transmitted via LoRa technology for efficient long-distance communication without internet. A deep learning model works on real time sensor data to generate the optimized recommendations for efficient use of fertilizer and pesticide usage and analyzes the data to provide accurate fertilizer/pesticide recommendation along with optimal water usage. The system integrates this model with LoRa-based communication for real-time insights, ensuring reliability through extensive testing in diverse field conditions. The solution enables precise soil analysis, optimized resource use, improved crop yields, and sustainable farming practices. The proposed system is Scalable and adaptable, it supports eco-friendly agriculture for fields of all sizes and crop types.
