Deforestation Detection based on Swin Transformer and U-Net architecture in Satellite Images
Deforestation, or irreversible forest loss, is an important environmental problem with far-reaching consequences. Some Swin transform-unit rules are an effective way to identify deforested areas by using transformation for image segmentation and CNN talent identification. When it comes to local tasks, CNNs excel in features such as surface texture removal, which is important for local change in forested areas. Transformers document long-term interactions with global systems, which are critical for detecting large-scale events such as massive deforestation. Well-designed windows retain their effectiveness by focusing on specific areas and taking into account the wider picture. CNNs handle sophisticated geographic information in this hybrid model in a straightforward manner. Swin Transformers also offers a lot of in-depth content around the world. The encoder and decoder model with a skip connection in the U-Net store unique information throughout the course, ensuring accurate reconstruction. The Swin transformer unit is very beneficial for the environment when it comes to deforestation because it can withstand small and large changes in exceptional conditions due to local and global extraction stability. Considering many issues, especially in the case of deforestation, provides a comprehensive approach to the environment.
