Hybrid Power System for DC Home Appliances
This research demonstrates that it is possible to make commercially available home appliances DC compatible, with measurements recording significant efficiency gains. Compatibility with renewable energy sources is made available by this shift towards DC systems. This suggests a different, affordable, and ecofriendly means of producing electricity for future generations. The two energy sources used are solar and wind. Photovoltaic (PV) and wind power are employed in this hybrid power renewable energy system with a battery energy storage system powering household appliance. This will result in excellent DC consumption standardization by coming up with a better DC power distribution system with fewer energy converters to achieve the purpose. The whole hybrid model is simulated using SIMULINK/MATLAB.
