Iot Based Smart Cradle System
Continuous monitoring of a baby's well-being is challenging, especially for working mothers. This paper presents an IoT-based Smart Cradle System that integrates machine learning and IoT to automate caregiving tasks and provide real-time baby monitoring. The system classifies baby sounds (crying, laughing, or silence) using a MATLAB-trained model and responds by automatically swinging the cradle and playing a soothing audio when a cry is detected. Real-time status updates and environmental data, including temperature and wetness, are displayed on the Adafruit app. Live video streaming via VLC Media Player enhances remote monitoring. A Raspberry Pi serves as the central controller, interfacing with sensors, a servo motor, and a camera module. This system offers an efficient, intelligent, and user-friendly solution for modern childcare, enhancing baby safety and parental convenience.
