Investigation Of Synergistic Hybrid Composite for Aerospace Applications : PALF-Glass Chopped fiber Hybrid Revolution
The paper focuses on the development and characterization of hybrid composite material based on the aim of using its good performance for aircraft non-structural applications with excellent sustainability and light properties. It deals with a composite system comprising Pineapple leaf fiber, known as PALF combined with glass chopped mat, with epoxy resin acting as the binder material. The developed composite undergoes various mechanical tests, such as tensile, compressive, flexural, and impact tests to determine essential parameters concerning strength, stiffness, durability, and energy dissipation efficiency. The main objective of this analysis is to evaluate the feasibility of the aerospace application based on the hybrid composites made of PALF-glass fiber, that will provide improved performance while being sustainable and innovative in the industry.
