Research on Performances of Three-Phase Brushless Dc Motors in Different Driving Methods
Most of the literature on three-phase brushless DC motors revolves around wye-connection in six-step commutation, without systematically comparing motor performances in different driving methods. Therefore, this paper studies the performances of three-phase brushless DC motors in different driving methods: wye-connection in six-step commutation, wye-connection in twelve-step commutation, delta-connection in six-step commutation and delta-connection in twelve-step commutation, which provides a reference and guidance for selecting appropriate driving methods for engineering applications.
