A Securing Transmitted Data in Internet of Autonomous Vehicles

In this paper, we designed an efficient group signcryption (GSC) protocol as a secure protocol to protect data content from being disclosed or forged during transmitted process in IAV. The proposed GSC protocol address the problem of the current AV system experiencing increased computation delays, especially with increasing the number of connected AVs by aggregating and verifying number of message at same time. A thorough security analysis has demonstrated that the proposed GSC scheme can achieve more security features than the group signature schemes that are already in use and is resilient against a wide range of security and privacy threats in the IAV communication network. The computational cost of the proposed GSC scheme is assessed based on the expense of verifying a large number of ciphertexts within a short time frame.
