Analysis of Control Strategy for Solar PV Based Microgrid
This project focuses on the development and deployment of a microgrid system that enables bidirectional power transfer between three key components: solar photovoltaic (PV) panels, main utility grid, and residential loads. Microgrids mark a transformative change in electricity distribution, enabling decentralized power management that improves resilience, sustainability, and efficiency. The Core objective is to create a flexible system capable of managing three critical power transfer pathways: from solar PV panels to local loads, from the main grid to local loads, and from solar PV panels to the grid. This allows the microgrid to operate in various modes depending on energy availability, load demand, and economic considerations. The simulation aims to create a reliable, efficient and sustainable microgrid by effectively utilizing the power generated from renewable energy source.
