Identification and Interpretation of Focal Center of Brain Activity from EEG Signal Recordings
The aim of this study is to analyze the signal generated in the brain for a specific task and to identify the region where it occurs. For this purpose, EEG signals were divided into delta, theta, alpha and beta sub-frequency bands, and feature extraction was performed by looking at the time-frequency characteristics of the signals belonging to the obtained sub-frequency bands. Time and focal center were determined by matching the time and frequency band at which the thought occurred. In this study, a hand open-close example was studied. A deep learning structure was used for signal recognition and interpretation. Promising results were obtained in relation to signal recognition and action realization.
