Implementation of Key Cloud Secure Access for Residential Buildings

A secure cloud-based system for access control in rental property is offered making use of an ESP32 microcontroller. The system generates and sends keys to users e-mail in order to allow the safe retrieval of such unique digital keys by that user. Upon getting his key, a password entered using a matrix keypad is shown to the user on an LCD for confirmation. The system throws open a solenoid lock for easy access after authenticating the password. Every activity of the users recorded in an IoT-based cloud platform, including access events, will be monitored in real-time for security enhancement. Since there is insecurity and lack of secured entry, individuals who rent are reaching harder to use manual or not secure entry ways of entering these rented premises, hence indicating the necessity of an automated and safe alternative for entry. This reduces the chances of unauthorized entry as offered by cloud-based communication in combination with local hardware control, and therefore only the legitimate users access the opportunity of entry. The access control can be remotely monitored and monitored by the landlords and owners of the property. This is as transparent, scalable as well as efficient solution. The automation process maximizes efficiency in operations and security through the elimination of human error and interaction. This method proves to be an excellent fit for modern rental management, as it has emerged to become one of the best ways to supply housing estates with safe, reliable, and real-time access control.
