Design of Circularly Polarized Antenna for Bio-Medical Applications: A Study
This paper explores the design of Circularly Polarized Antennas (CPAs) for biomedical applications, focusing on miniaturization, efficiency, and biocompatibility. Techniques such as microstrip patch antennas and U-shaped structures are used to achieve circular polarization. The integration of CPAs into wearable health systems for monitoring body movements is discussed. Materials like Rogers RO3010 and Parylene-C are highlighted for their performance and biocompatibility. The causes of low Specific Absorption Rate (SAR), real-world testing, and antenna reduction in size are discussed. The necessity of flexible antenna designs for specific therapy is emphasized in this paper.
