Smart Healthcare Assistant
This paper presents the design and development of SymptoGuide, an AI-powered humanoid assistant aimed at transforming healthcare delivery. The system leverages cuttingedge technologies including large language models (LLMs) for conversational interaction, voice-enabled GPT for speech-based input, disease detection algorithms, and autonomous indoor navigation. SymptoGuide enhances the patient experience by efficiently identifying symptoms, suggesting relevant specialists, and guiding patients through hospital environments. It integrates computer vision, speech recognition, and machine learning to deliver a robust and intelligent healthcare solution. The assistant combines the natural language understanding of LLMs with intelligent diagnosis, object detection for obstacle awareness, and real-time navigation using pre-mapped layouts. Through seamless interaction and accurate symptom assessment, SymptoGuide ensures that patients receive timely and personalized care. Experimental evaluations demonstrate the system's effectiveness in improving hospital workflow, minimizing patient confusion, and reducing wait times. By merging multiple AI domains into a unified platform, SymptoGuide represents a promising step toward more responsive, adaptive, and patient-centric healthcare systems driven by artificial intelligence.
