Advancement in Smart Prepaid Electric Meter System

Smart metering systems play a crucial role in energy management, but their effectiveness is often hindered by grid instability, unreliable communication, and inefficient backup solutions. This paper introduces an enhanced smart metering technology designed to address these challenges. A compact 4-layer PCB ensures thermal stability and minimizes electromagnetic interference, while a user-friendly web interface built with HTML5, JavaScript, and Python Django enables real-time energy monitoring and analytics. An Automated load disconnects using SSRs ensures fast and reliable fault handling .
