Rtawr: Real-Time Air Writing Recognition System Using Hand Gestures and Advanced CNN Model
In the realm of human-computer interaction, air writing emerges as an innovative gesture-based input modality, enabling intuitive communication through hand or finger movements in three-dimensional space. This paper presents the design and development of a robust system for real-time recognition of alphanumeric characters written in the air, leveraging advanced computer vision and machine learning techniques. By utilizing OpenCV for hand tracking and trajectory extraction, the system addresses challenges such as variable writing styles, environmental noise, and occlusions. The proposed approach significantly enhances recognition accuracy and system efficiency compared to existing methods. This technology has potential applications in smart device interfaces, accessibility solutions, and immersive entertainment experiences. Through this research, we aim to democratize access to intuitive interaction paradigms, advancing the capabilities of intelligent devices and reshaping digital communication.
