Smart attendance System using Bluetooth Beacon with Biometric Verification

This study provides a Smart Attendance System that combines Bluetooth beacons for indoor positioning with biometric verification. Conventional techniques for monitoring attendance, including using RFID cards or hand signature, can be manipulative and time-consuming. Our technology utilizes Bluetooth beacons for instant verification of physical presence and biometrics such as facial recognition or fingerprints for secure identity verification. With the integration of security and accuracy in two layers, this solution eliminates the possibility of proxy attendance. The proposed approach attained a fair accuracy rate in tests conducted in an educational setting. With its smooth and automated attendance tracking, this solution is very helpful for businesses and educational institutions
