Research on the Application of Intelligent Assistance Systems in Personalized Learning Path Planning of Dance Education

In this research, the effects of an intelligent assistance system on the individual learning path in the course of the Contemporary Dance Conditional at Trinity Laban Conservatoire of Music and Dance are investigated. The research explores the effects of the system on teaching and learning processes, student outcomes, and learning progress through a qualitative case study that includes six respondents, including three dance educators and three advanced students. The study indicates that the system doubles the tempo and the standard of skill acquisition by giving instant feedback. According to the feedback from the teachers and students, the implementation of the system increases the effectiveness of the usage of class time and raises the quality of practice sessions based on the gathered data. Further, it has been ascertained that the ability of the system to manage student records across the years improves student morale and confidence. But at the same time, the study also leads to the necessity to recognize the specificity of the system aimed at the professional development of dancers and to bring an appropriate degree of artistic search in dance. Therefore, the intelligent assistance system is found to enhance the teaching and learning of modern dance in classrooms and could provide numerous advantages; however, its use has to be integrated with conventional methods of pedagogy since it poses certain limitations.
