Influence of radiation resources on quality indicators of grapes growing in the conditions of the Southern coast of Crimea

Abstract. The radiation resources of the growing region have a significant impact on the physiological processes occurring in the grape plant and, consequently, on the formation of the yield and the quality of finished products. In this regard, it is advisable to study this issue on the territory of the Southern coast of Crimea. The purpose of the work is to determine the influence of radiation resources of the area on the quality of grapes. The research was conducted in the vineyards of the village of Livadia in 2022-2024. Measurements of the mass concentration of sugars and titrated acids in grape berries were carried out on eight varieties on the same dates. To identify the impact of radiation resources on the quality of grapes, a number of indicators were calculated. Coefficients of paired correlation between indicators of crop quality and radiation resources of the area are calculated. It was found that the mass concentration of sugars in grapes of the analyzed varieties has the closest positive correlation with the number of hours of sunshine during the growing season and the indicator of the temperature potential of photosynthesis. In six grape varieties, the increase in sugar content is influenced by the number of hours in the daytime with an air temperature of 25-30 ° C during the growing season. The number of hours in the daytime with an air temperature of 25-30 ° C and the number of hours of sunshine a month before measurements have a negative effect on the content of the mass concentration of sugars. It was found that the content of titrated acids in grapes positively correlates with the number of hours of sunshine a month before measuring the mass concentration of titrated acids. A negative correlation was found with the number of hours of sunshine and the number of hours in the daytime with an air temperature of 25-30 ° C during the growing season, as well as with the temperature potential of photosynthesis. Key words: grapes, mass concentration of sugars, mass concentration of titratable acids, number of hours of sunshine, radiation resources, growing season, pair correlation coefficients
