STUDY OF QUALITY PROBLEMS OF PNEUMATIC VALVES DIAPHRAGM IN THE PROCESS OF APPROACH QUALITY PLANNING (APQP-PROCESS)
Design and preparation of complex engineering products require adequate approaches to quality management. The aim of the article is to study quality problems in the process of manufacturing membranes from composites reinforced with continuous carbon fiber and to analyze the main causes affecting the process according to the recommendations of the APQP process. The main approaches to the study were the cause-and-effect method, production technology study methods, structural process planning method, mathematical modeling and forecasting. Five areas of factors affecting the porosity of membranes were identified. According to the APQP process plan, it was found that the choice of coextrusion technology, five-axis 3D printing equipment, and carbon fiber raw materials at the production design stage will minimize the porosity of products and improve their physicochemical properties. A structural model for analyzing production in the APQP process was developed, where the key factors for improving the quality of membranes are the choice of manufacturing technology, membrane printing equipment and raw material characteristics. It has been established that the greatest influence on the level of defective products is exerted by the number of layers with different fiber directions, the printing speed has a somewhat smaller influence, and the number of commands in the control code has a significantly smaller influence. The materials of the article have practical significance for the selection of production organization models and quality management systems at mechanical engineering enterprises.
