RESULTS OF THERMAL TREATMENT OF HYDROCARBON WASTE

Studies on the thermal treatment of oil sludge are presented. The method of experiment on high-temperature coking of heavy oil residues as a method of disposal of oily waste is presented. The interest in this area is due to the practical significance associated with the annually increasing number of oil sludge that is stored in sludge accumulators that occupy huge areas, harming the environment. The most promising way to clean oil sludge is a set of measures combining various cleaning methods.

Abstract

Studies on the thermal treatment of oil sludge are presented. The method of experiment on high-temperature coking of heavy oil residues as a method of disposal of oily waste is presented. The interest in this area is due to the practical significance associated with the annually increasing number of oil sludge that is stored in sludge accumulators that occupy huge areas, harming the environment. The most promising way to clean oil sludge is a set of measures combining various cleaning methods.
