White, not quite: Decolonising the Balkans, Debalkanising Europe

Under this title, Biljana Tanurovska Kjulavkovski and Dražen Dragojević created an environment for discursive sharing and reflective communing at the Summer School & Summit (TO KEEP IN TOUCH... Kinesthetic Empathy , Collective Practices ), organized by Tanzfabrik on 24 August 2023 in Berlin, as part of the (Non)Aligned Movements project by Nomad Dance Academy (NDA). The workshop was organized in two parts. In the first part, Dražen and Biljana opened diverse questions by sharing their perspectives on contemporary discourse on (de)colonial issues and struggles in (de)colonial centers, prone to overlooking one of the (de)colonial peripheries in particular: the Balkans.
