Construction of Motion Trajectory Monitoring System Based on Multi-sensor Data Fusion

With the continuous advancement of equipment innovation technology and the rapid development of the sports industry, athletes’ training effects and sports performance monitoring have become key factors in improving competitive levels. Traditional motion monitoring methods often rely on a single sensor, which makes it difficult to fully and accurately capture the athlete’s motion trajectory and state. Therefore, it is particularly important to build a motion trajectory monitoring system based on multi-sensor data fusion (MSDF). This paper aims to build a motion trajectory monitoring system based on MSDF. By integrating data from multiple sensors and using advanced algorithms for data fusion, accurate monitoring of the athlete’s motion trajectory can be achieved. This paper designs the system architecture, explains the sensor selection and layout, studies the data fusion algorithm, and then tests and optimizes the system performance. Experimental results show that the system can significantly improve the accuracy and real-time performance of motion trajectory monitoring, achieve real-time updates, and have a maximum update frequency of 20 Hz, which can meet the personalized needs of different sports and athletes.
