Three-Dimensional Digital Activation and Regeneration of Architectural Heritage Driven By Engineering Algorithms

As an important carrier of urban culture and history, the protection and regeneration of architectural heritage is of great significance for inheriting urban memory and promoting cultural diversity. However, traditional conservation methods are often limited by technical level and capital cost, making it difficult to achieve comprehensive protection and revitalization of architectural heritage. This paper first introduces the background of architectural heritage conservation, the current challenges, and the application potential of engineering algorithms in the three-dimensional digitization of architectural heritage. Then, the research progress and shortcomings in related fields are reviewed. Then, the construction method of 3D digital model based on engineering algorithm is elaborated in detail, including the selection of engineering algorithm, the current status analysis of the Third Front architectural heritage and the construction process of 3D digital model. The experimental results verified that the total quality of the digitized texture ranged from 85% to 95%, and the model accuracy fluctuated between 85% and 98%. This shows that the three-dimensional digital model based on the engineering algorithm can accurately reflect the structural and texture characteristics of the architectural heritage with high accuracy and completeness.
