Research on the Design of a Blockchain Logistics Information Platform Based on Reputation Proof Consensus Algorithm

The global logistics industry continues to expand, and the supply chain system is becoming increasingly large and complex. Although the widespread application of digital technology has improved the efficiency of transportation, warehousing, and supply chain management, the industry still faces challenges such as insufficient data transparency, information tampering, and asymmetry, which affect the traceability of goods flow and the stability of supply chain operations. Blockchain technology, with its decentralized and tamper proof characteristics, can provide reliable technical support for the secure storage and sharing of logistics information, thereby enhancing the transparency and security of logistics management. This article designs and implements a consensus algorithm based on reputation mechanism - Proof of Reputation (PoR), and applies it to a blockchain logistics information platform to optimize consensus efficiency and enhance system security. This algorithm combines a standardized rating system with historical reputation data of nodes to calculate a comprehensive reputation value, and prioritizes selecting nodes with high reputation to enter the consensus group, ensuring the stability and fairness of the consensus process. The experimental results show that this method not only shortens consensus time and improves data throughput, but also effectively enhances the security of the system. Based on an improved consensus mechanism, this article constructs a blockchain logistics information platform and verifies its feasibility in logistics data storage and traceability through experiments, which can meet practical business needs.
