An Operational Exploration of Data Processing on Cloud Platform Using Serverless Computing

In the current digital age, the ability to efficiently handle and interpret documents is crucial across a spectrum of sectors, from business operations to educational frameworks. This project introduces a sophisticated system for automated document handling, employing a serverless infrastructure powered by AWS Lambda and the Google Gemini AI model. The methodology involves the automated retrieval and analysis of content from various file types-including PDFs, CSVs, and Excel spreadsheets-stored within an Amazon S3 storage environment, with Lambda routines customized to manage and process each format. By leveraging the advanced capabilities of the Gemini AI model, the system facilitates the generation of contextually relevant answers to queries about the document content, providing immediate insights and enhancing user interaction with extensive datasets. This endeavor seeks to optimize document management processes, thereby improving accessibility and comprehension of unstructured textual data. The outcomes and applications of this research are valuable for organizations, educators, and developers who require effective, AI-enhanced document processing to boost productivity and user engagement.
