Li-Fi Driven Underwater Communication: Advancements and Applications in Optical Wireless Networks
Underwater communication faces its large set of challenges posed by RF wave's poor allowance in aquatic environments. RF waves attenuate in most aquatic media so much that it does not reach its range of good transmissivity and thus fails to establish reliable long-distance communications Optical wireless communication particularly LI-FI Light Fidelity, light based short distance and, long term high-speed underwater communications system. Advancement in LiFi-based underwater communications: The advancement so far has focused on distortion of signals and low range, hence environmental interference is still a problem for proper reception. High-level modulation methods, adaptive beamforming, and high-performance optical transceivers for overcoming these drawbacks are employed by the proposed system. Communication will be ultra high-speed and reliable for underwater application like oceanography, AUVs, and environmental monitoring. The suggested LiFi system offers high bandwidth and low interference, along with secure communication, that also improves performance as well as energy efficiency in underwater wireless networks.
