Green Computing Based V Ally Shopping Dray

This paper proposes a novel solution for retail automation by incorporating principles of green computing with the use of intelligent cameras and machine learning. Traditional RFID-based systems, though effective, generate electronic waste and require substantial infrastructure costs. The solution, V Ally Shopping Dray, eliminates the need for RFID tags by utilizing smart cameras that continuously track and identify products placed in the shopping cart. Machine learning algorithms are employed to ensure real-time accuracy in product detection, enhancing efficiency by automating the checkout process and minimizing the need for manual intervention. This approach significantly reduces environmental impact by cutting down CO2 emissions and the waste associated with RFID tags. Additionally, the system presents a cost-efficient alternative for retailers, offering an eco-friendly and scalable solution for future shopping experiences.
