VR Infusion - A VR Development for Neurodevelopmental Students

This project leverages Virtual Reality (VR) and Artificial Intelligence (AI) to create an immersive, adaptive learning experience for neurodiverse students, particularly those with autism, ADHD, and learning disabilities. Traditional educational methods often fail to meet their unique cognitive and sensory needs, leading to disengagement and limited learning outcomes. To address this challenge, we have developed custom VR glasses equipped with zero-power lenses, a speaker, display, MP3 player, and a mirror system to create a 3D learning environment. These glasses seamlessly connect to an AI-powered educational app via VMASS WiFi, ensuring real-time synchronization of visual and auditory cues. When a student selects an object, such as an apple, the corresponding 3D image appears in the VR glasses, along with an audio prompt like “A for Apple.” This multisensory approach improves engagement, retention, and personalized learning by adapting content to individual student needs. The platform includes progress tracking for educators and parents, allowing them to monitor learning outcomes effectively. By integrating cutting-edge VR and AI technology, this solution enhances accessibility, inclusivity, and engagement, transforming education for students with neurodevelopmental challenges and making learning interactive, adaptive, and effective.
