Self-Driving Bicycle for Independent Transportation and Safe Riding of Visually Impaired Individuals
In response to the challenges the visually impaired face in transportation, we propose the development of autonomous bicycles vehicles capable of operating without human input. These bicycles make use of sensors, GPS technology, and Artificial Intelligence to navigate complex environments, addressing issues such as difficulty in unfamiliar routes, limited mobility, and safety concerns. Our project is aimed at bringing commercially available fully autonomous bicycles to the market. It's the integration of AI, especially through computer vision systems.Meanwhile, our self-dependent bicycle design also focuses on obstacles detection, planning routing algorithms, and ensures having an all-inclusive approach towards independence and mobility enhancement of the visually challenged individual.
