Device to Detect the Victims in Avalanche

The aim of the project is to find victims buried in the avalanche by using an automated drone system with GPR technology which is placed above ground. The ultimate objective is to create a hardware and software system that may be utilized on location without the need for specialized radar expertise. This study investigates the use of ground penetrating radar (GPR)-equipped unmanned aerial vehicles (UA Vs) or drones to improve victim detection effectiveness in snowstorm and landslide scenarios. The suggested approach makes use of drones' aerial capabilities to swiftly survey wide areas and give a bird's-eye perspective of the affected area. By utilizing GPR technology, it becomes possible to find buried victims beneath the surface by penetrating layers of snow and debris. These technologies work together to make it easier to quickly and thoroughly evaluate damaged areas, which helps first responders focus search and rescue efforts. The proj ect entails creating a unique drone platform with GPR sensors integrated and tuned for effective data collection in difficult terrain. Furthermore, sophisticated data processing techniques are used to precisely locate prospective victim locations and interpret GPR signals. Dynamic decision-making is made easier by real-time communication between the drone and ground control, which maximizes resource deployment during safe operation.
