Contextualized Advanced Wearable Technology for Child Safety with Behavioral Response Systems

Child safety is becoming a global concern due to increasing reports of abduction, abuse, and accidents. There is a growing need for novel solutions to ensure children are always safe and well. These IoT - based solutions, developed for real-time monitoring with emergency response actions, have a number of promising avenues. Many researchers have developed a variety of devices for child safety; this paper proposes a safer and more novel method to protect children against any danger and monitor their health condition. Its goal is to provide methodologies for developing child safety devices enhanced by cutting -edge technologies such as the Internet of Things (IoT) and sensors. The proposed device shall integrate multiple sensors such as SpO<inf xmlns:mml="http://www.w3.org/1998/Math/MathML" xmlns:xlink="http://www.w3.org/1999/xlink">2</inf>, temperature, GSR, and much more with an accompanying microcontroller, GSM communication modules, and GPS modules to signal emergency alerts. This device shall be compact, made to be worn, and available to kids of all age groups. When a child finds himself in a stressful condition or an unsafe situation, the device acts. It will use a wireless sensor network for communication and sending alerts. The GPS and GSM modules transfer the child's real-time location to emergency contacts such as parents or guardians. With the integration of these components and functionalities, the device serves as a holistic safety system for children, providing both proactive monitoring and reactive response in emergencies.
