PROVABOK: Unveiling the Behavioral Impact of Social Media Influencers on Bangladeshi Youth

In the digital era, social media influencers wield significant impact on people's mental well-being and emotional health. This research delves into the complex relationship between social media influencers and the psychological health of people, specifically university students. This research employs a survey methodology, constructing questionnaires grounded in well-established mental health psychometrics. Clustering algorithms were employed to categorize social media users based on their survey responses. The primary purpose of using clustering was to identify distinct groups of users who share similar behaviors, preferences, and interactions with influencers. By applying clustering techniques such as K-means, K-modes, and Agglomerative Clustering, we were able to uncover patterns and relationships within the data that helped us group users into clusters which led us to identify the mental impacts. The clustering results revealed distinct user groups, each exhibiting unique behavioral patterns and psychological impacts influenced by social media content. These groups highlighted variations in emotional attachment, decision changing, body image perception, and the influence of social media on habits, allowing us to uncover nuanced insights into the effects of influencers across different demographic segments.
