Industrial Water Quantity, Quality Measurement, and Power Consumption Optimization of Wireless Sensor Network

Maintaining the quality of water is a crucial aspect of human survival and protecting the environment. A robust monitoring system can help to maintain water quality in various infrastructures. To solve this, an IoT-based water quality monitoring system is proposed with the aim of real-time collection and analysis of environmental data. The system uses wireless sensor networks (WSNs) to create a framework that supports the constant monitoring of essential water quality parameters, including pH level, temperature, turbidity, and dissolved oxygen content, among others. The advantages of the proposed solution were better accuracy, lower cost, and better applicability, which solved problems associated with the management of water resources. The field studies indicate that there are large steps in enhancing early pollution detection to control water resources effectively. This research offers a baseline for implementing integrated smart monitoring systems in urban and rural settings.
