Design and Implementation of Mixed Reality Visualization Models in Health Care Applications

The use of AI and visualization tools has become an integrated part of the various domains aiming at Quality Education for sustainable development. The proposed work is based on the development of a 3D model of the heart using a Virtual Reality (VR) tool that enables the students to experience VR-based practical demo sessions with a better understanding about the dimension, angles and precision that must be used in the dissection. The work also strives to develop a simulation showing the variation in the rate of blood flow as the viscosity of the blood increases or the fatty particles are added leading to a block. This helps the medical professionals to have a proactive action based on the pattern of the variation of blood flow over a period of time. A virtual reality-based system is developed to help doctors conduct a surgical study of patterns generate the heart model by simulating all the vessels and secondly to design the visualization model for blockage in the heart. The blood flow is shown as a fine representation of the granules with appropriate viscosity. The aim of the study is to prove the appropriateness of rapid prototyping methods in replicating real human heart structures for medical education. These models are meant for teaching and training purposes, especially for cardiovascular study, with use of 3D technology which will improve medical education with good practical exposure.
