An Intelligent Cryptographic Technique for Protecting Internet of Things Data in 5G Networks
In modern communication networks, the Internet of Things (IoT) designed for application-specific tasks with the framework of 5G technologies is a challenging task to meet security requirements. Moreover, network requirements such as lower latency, higher data rates, and various network topologies are used for IoT-based 5G technologies. In this article, a novel Buffalo-based chaotic cryptographic encryption mechanism is developed to overcome such security threats in IoT systems. Initially, chaotic cryptographic encryption functioned to deploy and encrypt the transmitted data efficiently. Here, the secret keys are generated in a simple manner based on the chaotic sequences. Then, the Buffalo optimization fitness function is initiated, and the attacks are tracked. As an outcome, the proposed model offers a higher confidential rate of 99.2% when compared to the other state-of-the-art models such as data transfer and mutual authentication, quantum resistance data distribution, and cloud SAP [Security Assessment Protocol].
