ANALISIS ANCAMAN SERANGAN SIBER PADA INFRASTRUKTUR INFORMASI VITAL TERHADAP STABILITAS KEAMANAN NASIONAL
In the digital era, cyberattacks against vital information infrastructures (IIVs) have increased significantly. These infrastructures are becoming prime targets for threat actors due to the increasing reliance on information technology, which increases the risk of cyber threats. Advantages for cyber criminals include anonymity and remote control capabilities. One recent case is the hacking of the Temporary National Data Center (PDNS) in Surabaya by the hacker group Brain Chiper, which used LockBit 3.0 ransomware to encrypt systems and data, causing the paralysis of public services. This study aims to analyze attack patterns, threat levels, vulnerabilities, potential impacts, and intelligence strategies in dealing with cyber threats to IIV. The research used a qualitative approach through interviews and literature review. The findings show that attacks on the PDNS are technical in nature, involving phishing, DDoS, and malware infiltration to gain unauthorized access, followed by ransom demands to the government. Based on Hank Prunckun's theory, the cyber threat level at PDNS is categorized as critical with a high level of asset vulnerability. These attacks have far-reaching impacts on national security, covering ideological, political, social, cultural and defense aspects. Therefore, effective risk management and intelligence strategies supported by advanced technology and competent human resources are essential in mitigating cyber threats to IIV.
