The transformation of socio-urban planning approaches to the formation of recreational infrastructure
The article analyzes the current issues of recreational territories and infrastructure in Ukraine, assessing the impact of military actions due to Russian aggression on the overall state of recreational resources and infrastructure, particularly resorts in the Ukrainian Azov region and Crimea, where only 21% of pre-war territories remain under Ukrainian jurisdiction. Given the need for rehabilitation of those affected by the war and other social groups in the post-war years, Ukrainian society will face a severe shortage of national coastal resources. At the same time, the importance of searching for new types of recreational resources capable of meeting the needs of the population in the context of constant changes in the socio-economic situation is highlighted. It is established that, to this day, there is no unified mechanism for identifying, protecting, and organizing recreational zones, which complicates their effective use for the needs of the population, tourists, and various social groups. It is proposed to develop a forward-looking state program for the development of resorts, recreation zones, tourism, and nature reserves; to prepare a draft of the Law of Ukraine "On Health, Recreational, and Historical-Cultural Territories" to establish the rules for their development and restoration, taking into account their protected status as objects of the reserve fund.
