The influence of BIM technologies on construction management efficiency

The modern construction industry faces a range of systemic challenges related to inefficient resource management, communication gaps, and limited project control. Building Information Modeling (BIM) technology serves as a tool for digital transformation, capable of enhancing construction management efficiency through virtual modeling, real-time collaboration, automated calculations, monitoring, and integration with ERP systems. This article analyzes the key mechanisms by which BIM optimizes construction processes, including cost estimation, planning, and risk management. It explores practical case studies demonstrating cost reduction and increased project transparency achieved through BIM. Special attention is given to the integration of BIM with ERP systems to automate business processes, as well as the prospects for BIM's development through the use of artificial intelligence and Big Data. The publication offers a comprehensive approach to understanding BIM as a strategic tool that combines technical innovation with management efficiency —crucial for the digital transformation of construction and the industry's sustainability. The aim of the publication is to systematize the impact of BIM technologies on construction management efficiency, emphasizing virtual modeling, collaborative work, automated calculations, real-time monitoring, and ERP integration. The article reveals the mechanisms through which BIM transforms traditional processes of cost estimation, planning, and quality control, while analyzing case studies focused on risk minimization and project transparency enhancement. The authors provide recommendations for integrating BIM with ERP systems to automate business processes and outline the future development of the technology through the adoption of artificial intelligence and Big Data. This article is intended to shape a holistic view of BIM as a strategic management tool that drives the digital transformation of the construction industry by merging technical innovations with business process efficiency.
