The results of 2023 confirmed concerns that the record inflow of foreign investment into Kazakhstan in 2022 was due to a temporary change in the economic situation, and that without solving the structural problems of the economy, there will be no sustainable growth. Nevertheless, the current geopolitical conditions remain favorable for the development of Kazakhstan’s investment potential.
