Unexpected falsely high vancomycin concentrations in a patient with endocarditis during routine therapeutic drug monitoring
Unknown compounds or mechanisms may interfere with vancomycin assays.Assay interference should be suspected in patients with persistently high vancomycin levels who continue to deteriorate clinically.
