Soret and Chemical Reaction Effects on MHD Convection-Free Flow Past a Suddenly Started Inclined Vertical Plate with Ramped Velocity, Temperature, and Concentration

The combined impacts of thermal diffusion and thermal radiation on convection-free MHD heat-absorbing chemically reactive flow past an impulsively initiated inclined upright plate incorporating ramped velocity, ramped concentration, and ramped temperature are analyzed. This study presents a comparative assessment for both ramped and isothermal conditions. Leveraging the Heaviside step function, the unitless domain equations are tackled by implementing the Laplace transform technique. The influences of diverse embedded parameters on temperature, velocity, and concentration fields, as well as the momentum, mass, and heat transport rates, have been represented graphically and interpreted physically. Graphs are created with the help of MATLAB computing software. It is emphasized that an improved chemical reaction parameter lowers both velocity and concentration while simultaneously increasing the mass transport rate. Furthermore, an increase in the Soret effect enhances fluid velocity and concentration, showcasing a divergent behavior in mass transfer rate. Our analysis also reveals an intriguing finding: under both ramped and isothermal conditions, the ramped parameter escalates the fluid velocity near the plate; however, after a critical point, the trend reverses. This research holds substantial importance across various engineering fields, such as materials manufacturing, turbine heat transfer, and electronic circuit operations.
