A Validity Test on the Application of Blockchain in Freeway Freight Network
As the core carrier in China's freight network, expressway serves as a critical artery supporting the national economic circulation. However, in the actual operation, entities such as logistics companies, expressway operators, shippers, and truck drivers commonly rely on the third-party platform for information sharing, leading to challenges including data authenticity, cumbersome processes, and high platform commissions. Blockchain, characterized by decentralization, immutability, and traceability, offers an effective solution. To explore the application prospects of blockchain in freeway freight network, this study design questionnaires targeting various entities and establish a projection pursuit model to quantify their confidence levels. The findings reveal that logistics companies and highway operators exhibit higher confidence in blockchain, while shippers and truck drivers show lower confidence, thereby providing insights into the blockchain's application potential.
