A Method for Aircraft Structural Corrosion Process Modeling and Maintenance Planning Considering Multi-Source Environmental Coupling Effects

As the demands for the environmental adaptability of aircraft structures increase and the variability of aircraft operating environments grows, the corrosion resistance of aircraft structures and the maintenance planning for corrosion are facing new challenges. This also raises higher requirements for the accuracy and rationality of corrosion prediction and maintenance control. This paper, based on the identification of the characteristics of the aircraft structural operating environment, establishes a corrosion degradation model that incorporates multi-source environmental coupling effects using a nonlinear Wiener process. It also develops a strategy for life prediction and condition-based maintenance design and optimization, providing theoretical and technical support for enhancing aircraft structural safety and mission reliability. The effectiveness of the proposed method in improving structural safety, reducing maintenance costs, and enhancing operational performance is validated through a corrosion degradation case study of a specific aircraft model.
