Abstract

Investing in teacher training is investing in meaningful learning. Planning a continuing in- service training program that meets the focal educational needs, in addition to contributing to the improvement of pedagogical practice, ensures that teaching takes place in a personalized way, respecting the context of each school and local community. Continuing in-service training is a moment of interaction between the teaching staff, which contributes to the development of important aspects, such as responsibility for the learning of all students at the institution of which they are part. From this training, learning is constructed collectively, in which each person assumes that they belong to this process and students become the responsibility of the entire school team, be it pedagogical, administrative and/or support. The initial years of Elementary Education require attention to aspects that go beyond literacy, hence its complexity and importance as a basis for the other years of Basic Education. The teacher who assumes this role must have very well developed concepts about learning and how the teaching process occurs, in addition to knowing how to use self- management during his classes, seeking to mediate his students in the development of skills and competencies. , relating them to their daily lives. The methodology presented in this Final Project is research to design an intervention program for teachers who work in the first years of Elementary School, in a municipal education network, located in the metropolitan region of the state of São Paulo Brazil. Within this program, aspects of initial (academic) training, continuing in-service training, appreciation of pedagogical practice and the use of digital tools to share in-service practice will be considered.
