Finding Out Good Grinding Quality Through the AHP Based Selection of Appropriate Process Parameters
Grinding uses hard, abrasive grits of a wheel for removing micro-volume of work material to finish/semi-finish it. Parametric optimization is tried in this investigation on surface grinding through the analytical hierarchy process (AHP). Data observed during grinding under different parametric combinations and environmental conditions are utilized to construct the AHP model. It is observed that the choice of desired grinding quality through proper machining condition can be made successfully using the AHP.
